6. Motherboard
This one is pretty easy...
1) Disconnect DC power board cable, USB/1394 block ribbon, and left and right speaker plugs.
2) Remove (4) screws from motherboard.
3) Lift from near LAN port and slide toward back to release audio ports and SD slot.
Congratulations, you now have a pile of parts and screws instead of a Gateway notebook!
